This certificate is issued to the Omani citizen and resident foreign nationals presently or previously residing in the Sultanate for the following purposes:

Practicing commercial business outside the Sultanate
Obtaining entry visas for certain countries
Immigration to other countries
Working as tourists guide
Joining the University
Other similar purposes

The requirements for the issue of police clearance certificate

For Omanis

• Filled Aplication form
• Copy of the passport or the Identity Card
• Two Photographs

For Resident Expatriate

• Letter from the Sponsor
• Filled Aplication form
• Copy of the Passport
• Two Photographs
• Finger Prints

For Foreigners Staying Outside The Sultanate

• A letter from the Aplicant indicating their name and email address
• Two Photographs
• Copy of the passport including the pages containing the previous residence stamp during the applicant’s residence in Oman .
